You are not short of log cabins in Scotland however little lochan lodge was one of the ones that just stuck out to us due to its unusual shape. It was the start of out of journey on the NC500 and what better what to start it than a very cosy night away. I remember when we first stayed and we spoke to the owners they said the price was low due to only being open for a couple months, and 2 years later its still at the same price of £90.00 a night. The word for describing this little unique stay in cosy, everything about this place is so inviting more so In Scotland where its just rains the majority of the time. Theres a Supermarket in Perth just a short drive away. So make sure you stock up before you get here for food and drink.
We loved this place so much we actually ended up buying a weekend away for one of our families.
There is an outbuilding that provides a hot shower and eco-toilet. The kitchen is fitted out by a cooker and pans for you to cook up a good breakfast.
We arrived to the log fire already on thanks to the owners. It was so cosy and inviting as it was so stormy outside.
Everything in this log cabin is handmade by the owner including the bed and cabins themselves.
